Alison Clark
Alison has always had a passion for animals, starting with drawing horses and cats, and took up painting seriously in 2000.
Lessons with inspiring teachers was her chosen path, learning many subjects, and eventually she specialized in painting African and domestic animals in pastel and oil.
She has had many trips to Africa, volunteering with wild animals, studying them in depth to bring authenticity and life to her paintings, and has won many awards for her work. Her paintings are in both Australian and International collections, including the United States and South Africa. She worked at a zoo for six years, she also has a BSc in zoology from La Trobe University.
Alison teaches workshops and classes in pastel and oil.
